The Zumba aesthetic fully embraces its place at the bottom of the fitness and fashion food chain. Part of its charm is its paisa-pocho-ness that comfortably and inelegantly mashes together banda, hip hop, and reggaeton, wraps neon spandex over everything, and runs the whole hot mess through a copier to make copies of copies of copies of itself.
